Making Use of Information in Children's Social Services
Making Use of Information in Children's Social Services is the final report of a 3-year project with six local authorities in Wales. The project identified some of the key obstacles to the use and flow of information, many of which will need to be addressed in order to support the implementation of the Integrated Children's System.

Exemplars

This section provides copies of the records and the exemplars, available in PDF and Word format, which support the Integrated Children's System. A memorandum regarding the modification of the ICS exemplars is also available, detailing the common principles which should be adhered to should local authorities need to modify exemplars to suit local circumstances.

This section contains lists of resources which may help practitioners to include children and young people in the decision-making processes which affect their lives. The information here was collated in 2002 - we cannot therefore guarantee that all the publications listed here will still be available.
