Integrated Children's System National Conference (March 2007)
This conference focused on the capacity of the Integrated Children's System (ICS) to improve outcomes for children in need. The presentations below show what local authorites in England have achieved, and how organisations outside the UK have used the ICS framework.
The presentations address the importance of organisational commitment, particularly in the context of corporate parenting responsibilities. They also look at the implications for frontline practitioners working with children and families. The workshops offered the opportunity for focused discussion on a number of key areas, such as the use of management information and involving children in the development of the ICS.
